Nov.11,2011 Bride Phamela (Airbrush) Richmonde Hotel, Eastwood

Ms.Pham was not feeling well on the day of her wedding. She has
droopy eyes to begin with and it looked extra droopy due to her heavy bad feeling.
But thanks to the power of makeup which concealed the dullness of the skin and eyes.

She was very specific when we did her trial back then, which i understood-
she didn't want to look different. She's so pretty and no concealing much needed.
But the thing was she didn't want liner on her lash lines. She didn't want her eyebrows
be filled and look too thick since hers is full already. She told me that she tried it to some
makeup artists already and didn't like the outcome. I think i would've  done
the same thing as what other makeup artists did- i would've filled her brows
and line the lash lines as it would really look better on high definition cameras/videos.
But in the end, it's still what the client wants that would  matter; and so
her wish was my command and gave her some options...
I was more than happy when she liked our trial. :D

November 05,2011 Magazine Shoot with Eastwood Models

I was back to Eastwood Models Agency for a
gadget magazine shoot this time. Imagine my glee when I was
told that my work will land on the cover of Computer World Magazine
for their Dec-Jan issue. I just had to grab the opportunity right there and there.
No second thoughts or whatsoever. What could be cooler than doing what I
love + exciting exposure, right? Pure exuberance it was for me!

Shoots are tiring due to long hours of work. Have to change
different looks depending on the layout or have to stand by
all through out for touch-up and to make sure the makeup
is working well on the camera. But it;s definitely fun for me as well
since it gives me liberty to get more creative and think outside the box. :)

October 28,2011 Portfolio Shoot with Eastwood Models

I had the amazing opportunity to work with the Eastwood Models
and photographer Eric Alessi. This shoot was for the models'
portfolio update. I did almost five looks for two females and
one grooming for the male model. We started at 1pm and ended
a little after 8pm. It was an exhausting shoot for me but I had fun
just by seeing the end results on the camera.
I just can't wait for the final photos!

did some glow in the dark body painting..

October 16, 2011 Calendar Shoot: Cocktail Theme

The shoot took place at Velada Estate, Antipolo for
a company calendar with a cocktail theme. I did the
makeup for three models and I must say, I had fun working with
them since they were all so nice and pretty! It's the easiest to
do a model's makeup as well due to their nice skin and facial features.
All there was to be done was on how to connect the aimed look tothe photographer's
concept or vision for the shoot. The photographer, Mike, requested a
matte look for the models, and so it was done. :)
Here are the photos taken by Pam.

Bobbi Brown Fall 2011 Marrakesh Chic Collection

I know I don't completely go buy all makeup collections out there
but I get excited every time there's a new line out in the market.
Why? Well it's an absolute eye candy for me! Always!
And I know it's the same for other makeup fanatics too.
Just looking at the colors, textures, and the mix and matching of shades
is pure pleasure. It's a continuous inspiration, ain't it?
Now this Bobbi Brown Fall 2011 collection promo ad is just so gorgeous!
It's so Bobbi Brown (duh) i'd say- pretty, powerful, and natural.

I just died when I saw these eye shadow babies.
Since I adore all browns, neutrals, earthy, and all those dark shades,
it's just fitting for me to feel that this set ise my perfect cup of tea.

Lipsticks. Total color parade! The peach one in the middle is my bet!
Ahhh. Wait til we see all of the cosmetics' Holiday Makeup Collections
which is my fave collection of all time. It'll be a feast of rich textures for sure!
