      We did a little photo shoot featuring the works of my creative fingers. Yes indeed creative (ehem)
      since I used nothing but my fingers to apply the makeup (foundation, eyeshadow, blush, lipstick).
       Hey I washed my hands.

     I styled the hair and photos were taken by me.

Jan. 8, 2011 Entourage Hair and Make-up (New Horizon Hotel)

    Preapration place: New Horizon Hotel

Ms.Vhec booked my service for the whole entourage plus their relatives - 20 adults

and six flower girls. The wedding is at 9am so we had to start doing everybody's

makeup by 3:30am.  With services like this one, I have two hairstylists with me

and Tita Malou, a co-makeup artist. We had a trial hair and makeup and 

Ms.Vhec requested for uniform hair style for the entourage. 

The room is big enough but it was a busy box. Imagine all the people in there during

the preparation, and add all photographers..whew.

So we weren't able to cover all of the finished look since a lot of them

disappeared in the room once they're all set..haha

But then again, good times.

People's Choice Award (Best Makeup)

          There's this makeup website that I've been following for makeup updates and fresh tips which
        you guys should check out (makeup.com) Anyway, so this website always does check out the hottest
       makeup looks seen on red carpets and other events so I thought I'd post the same as well. As other
       bloggers would rave about the couture worn by celebrities, well I'm more interested with their makeup
       looks....and then some couture.hehe. So here are some of the photos of makeup looks that
        |I personally uh-dore.

                                              Mila Kunis...I love the eyes. The photo is blurry
                                            but you can tell how the makeup is perfectly polished
                                           without looking overly done. Don't you think it's unfair
                                          for them to be blessed with almost perfect eyelids and
                                            creases? well, I do.

                                   Talk about overly done....Kim Kardashian is goooorgeous, but
                                  she loves caking too much on her makeup. She's always seen with
                                heavy makeup,like literally all the time. I saw a photo of her once with
                              light makeup and sans makeup. It's so refreshing on the eyes to see her
                          with the right amount of cosmetics on her. Btw, I keep up with the Kardashians,
                             so there you go.haha

                                   Selena Gomez..aside from Justin Bieber which add twinkle in her eyes,
                                   the combo of this color combination is what made her bloom at its fullest.
.                                  The look is all fresh and fun.It's not my style but I find it appropriate for
                                    teens and for those girly girls though..

 

Katy Perry.. She can pull off any splash of colors.

Her makeup always reflect her character which you can tell-

fun and quirky. She loves being a girl!

 

 Emma Roberts.. She's young and all but she has mastered the classic

                         and elegance of beauty just like her famous Aunt. Now this is more my style,
                                   bcoz I love all my browns and nudes just as I love weddings. Brides
                                are perfect in neutrals..

 

                                   Taylor Swift...The red lipstick with orange undertone went well with her
                                copper eyeliner on her lower lash line. But personally, I just don't like
                                the shape of her cat eye-like eyes, and her lips. Even though she changes her
                               make-up, her look's still the same..i get frustrated seeing her face, like her stare
                               is soo blank. But then again, that's just me.Which make-up you liked best?

                                  Bride Ruth Ella Joy booked my service while she was still in Dubai
                              without doing our trial hair and makeup. She has beautiful skin, not even
                              a single blemish. What she was worried about was her dry skin because
                              I was told that cosmetics tend to become really cakey on her due to her
                             skin condition. I can tell that she's not really used on putting makeup as she
                             gets all expressive and wacky as I dust on my brushes. Funny. I did not
                             put on falsies since the mascara alone is too much to bear for her already.
                                By the way, I had the privilege for my makeup mentor, my Auntie Maria,
                      to tag along with me while she gets the opportunity. (she's now back in the US though)
