Makeup Artistry

 My younger sisters are my biggest critics. I asks for their opinions and

of what they think of my specific work. They tell me the truth and really voice out their minds.

But they, are too, my worst critics  for they are straight and brutal. So the scenario always ends up 

with arguments of what looks best or what should have done on a specific look.

So how would one define a good makeup? It's clear that me and my sisters have different perceptions

that even when it comes to logic and reasoning, my mind still work artistically (poor excuse.hehe)

I love art,..and art for me, does not need reasons all the time.  

March 30,2011 Wedding (Pearl Manila Hotel/Paco Park Church)

Carla's wedding was so modern and quirky.

Their color motif was black and deep violet. She and her groom wore

matching violet chucks amidst the elegance of the gown and suit.

Her gown had little black accents which is unusual (here in our country).
I think it reflected the character of the couple.And that is what's important-owning
your wedding day by conveying your  personalities through these details
to make it more personal and fun.

Carla and I agreed to create a modern look

on her without being overrated. I used shades of violet (pale and medium) on her eyes

very lightly instead of the usual browns. I'm stressed because we weren't able to take a really 

good shot of her makeup (photos gave no justice!). Anyway so here are the pictures:
